99.9% of the money we raise to help young Rwandans goes directly to them via Western Union. Only the named student with his/her Identity card and a special code known only to him/her and me, can pick up the money. If he/she is under 18, then I will send the money to the priest who collects it for them.

I try to return to Rwanda every 3 or 4 years, in order to see present and former students and to visit the schools. All the money for this comes out of my own pocket. Sheila Burns
